Ball Janik LLP recently hired Caitlin Sause as a government affairs adviser in its Portland office. Her primary focus will be representing clients before the Oregon Legislature and helping the firm build a state lobbying practice in Salem.

Sause previously was a legislative associate for Northwest Strategies, where she specialized in renewable energy, coastal issues and natural resources.
