General contractor G.A. Bentley Construction is converting a space in Portland State University’s University Plaza into a Ben & Jerry’s Partnershop, which will serve to benefit local nonprofit New Avenues for Youth.聽 The remodel was designed by Baysinger Partners Architecture, and mechanical engineering was performed by Glumac.聽 Improvements made include interior partitions, tile and case work, fiber-reinforced polymer, and acoustic ceiling; work is expected to be completed this week.
