Clatsop County Fairgrounds, 4.4 miles outside of the city of Astoria, was built in 1994. County residents can participate in a full range of activities and events at the facility.

This project consists of a request for proposals from qualified firms for custom design, transport and installation of telescoping bleachers for the fairgrounds. The bleacher system shall be comprised of multiple tiered, closed-deck seating rows operating in a telescoping manner, incorporating the most economical quantity of sections while still complying with all loading requirements.

The contract will be awarded on July 25 and notice to proceed will be issued Aug. 1.
