When it came time to tackle a tenant improvement project for the Lake Grove branch of Bank of the West, general contractor Emerick Construction turned to A-Absolute Comfort to handle all of the plumbing needs.
It turned out to be the start of a beautiful relationship.
A-Absolute was responsible for a little more than $11,000 of the roughly $212,000 budget for the project. A-Absolute not only finished the project on time, but it managed to hit that target without a single change order.
The company also earned accolades from Emerick for its willingness to step forward and help with portions of the project that weren鈥檛 included in its contract.
鈥淭hey got the job done on time, and even went above and beyond to help out with portions that weren鈥檛 theirs,鈥 said Russ Fredrickson, Emerick鈥檚 field foreman.
The exterior of the building, for example, was handled by a company other than Emerick. When it began to look like the project might not be ready in time for a plumbing inspection, A-Absolute went to work to help move forward work on the shell of the building.
鈥淭he client was extremely happy with the outcome of the bank branch,鈥 Emerick wrote in its DMWESB TopProjects nomination, 鈥漚nd we have since used A-Absolute Comfort for other projects because of [the company鈥檚] professional conduct on the job.鈥
