Schwabe’s Scott Weimer wins volunteer award

Scott Weimer, client relations and marketing manager in the Portland office of Schwabe, Williamson & Wyatt, is the 2012 recipient of an Action Award from Cascade AIDS Project.

The organization annually presents Action Awards to 12 of its outstanding volunteers. Weimer was selected based on his long-term involvement with the CAP鈥檚 Camp Starlight program a week-long residential camp for kids whose lives have been affected by AIDS and HIV. In addition to serving as a camp commissioner, Weimer spends part of his summer as a volunteer counselor.

Weimer has been with Schwabe since 1990. He was the 2010 recipient of the firm鈥檚 Wendell King Best of Schwabe award, which recognized employees who exhibit outstanding commitment to customer service.
