The has awarded its Champion Award for the company’s inclusion of minority contractors.
Hoffman received the award last week during a luncheon at its offices. Mark Matthews, NAMC Oregon president, and Faye Burch, NAMC Oregon vice president, presented the award to Hoffman CEO Wayne Drinkward during the luncheon.
Burch cited Hoffman’s inclusion of minority contractors in such projects as the new headquarters and parking facilities for Portland International Airport, the Legacy Emanuel Medical Center Adult Services Renovation and the renovation of the Billy Webb Elks Lodge in Northeast Portland. James Posey, NAMC Oregon board member, also applauded Hoffman for its efforts to train small, minority-owned businesses in Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design.
