As part of the acquisition, Myhre Group will add two members to its existing, seven-person interior design team. Lisa Warnock, former principal of Glow, and another colleague will begin at Myhre Group April 2.

鈥淲e have many mutual clients, so instead of working as two separate entities we figured we would make the marriage complete in order to offer fully integrated services,鈥� said Jeff Myhre, president of the Portland-based architecture firm.

Warnock earned her interior design degree at Marylhurst University, which is accredited by the Foundation for Interior Design Education Research. She first approached Myhre Group about a potential merger last year, but the timing was not right, according to Myhre.

With several projects already on the horizon this year, however, he recently decided to bring Warnock onto the team.

鈥淭hings are getting better and better and better,鈥� Myhre said. 鈥�(This year) started with a bang and the first quarter looks very strong. Myhre Group is heavily involved in the multifamily housing market, and we’ve seen a huge influx, primarily in renovations and adaptive reuse opportunities. Bringing Lisa’s expertise into that market is a really good fit for us right now.鈥�
