Beverly Pearman, a partner with Stoel Rives LLP, has been elected president and chairwoman of the board of directors for Oregon Law Center. She replaces Lou Savage, who served as OLC president since 2002. Savage will continue his affiliation with OLC as board vice president.
Pearman received her law degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Law and focuses her practice on complex business and environmental litigation.
She is a former chairwoman of the Oregon State Bar Legal Services Committee and a former co-chairwoman of the Associates Committee of the Lawyers’ Campaign for Equal Justice. She has been recognized by the Oregon State Bar and the Multnomah Bar Association for her pro bono work, and currently volunteers with Stoel Rives’ Legal Aid Clinic.
