The Portland law firm of Samuels Yoelin Kantor LLP has worked with clients in the Hood River area for decades. Now the firm has decided to open an office in the Mid-Columbia community.

Firm partner Steven W. Seymour and firm senior counsel Donald W. Hull have been tapped to help establish the new office.

Hull is a Hood River native. While finishing law school at the University of Oregon, he was elected District Attorney for Hood River County. He then went on to open a private practice in Hood River before moving to the bench as a Circuit Court judge.

Seymour also has solid ties to the Hood River area.  He is a resident judge for the city of Mosier, a community about seven miles from Hood River. A Mosier resident, he is licensed to practice law in both Oregon and Washington.

The Hood River area has experienced significant job growth in recent years thanks to employers that include Google, Insitu, Full Sale Brewing and Dakine.
