Barran Liebman attorneys and staff members, along with their friends and family, pitched in earlier this month to help the Oregon Food Bank repackage bulk food.
Working as Team Barran Liebman, the group spent a Saturday breaking down a mountain of pasta into thousands of two-pound bags. Those bags will find their way into food boxes that contain three- to five-day supplies of groceries for food bank clients.
For those folks wondering exactly how much a 鈥渕ountain鈥 of pasta is, Barran Liebman鈥檚 client services director Traci Ray reports its 6,750 pounds of macaroni, which pencils out to 5,192 meals for food bank clients.
