Emily Teplin Fox has joined the Portland law firm of Markowitz, Herbold, Glade & Mehlhaf. She will focus her practice on commercial litigation, with an emphasis on breach of contract, partnership disputes, securities litigation and professional malpractice.

Fox previously served as a law clerk for Judge John R. Tunheim in the U.S. District Court for the District of Minnesota. She also clerked for Judge Diana E. Murphy of the Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals.

While in school at Yale Law School, she was involved in the Jerome N. Frank Legal Service Organization and received the Stephen J. Massy Prize for outstanding work representing the law clinic鈥檚 values.
