Sterling Bank recently named Chris DuBose commercial banking team leader of the downtown Portland area and promoted Joe Storm to commercial lending team leader for the greater Vancouver, Wash., market.

DuBose will oversee the combined Portland and former First Independent commercial banking team. He has been with Sterling for the past eight years, first as a commercial banker and then as a commercial banking team leader for the Southern Oregon market.

Storm, who came to Sterling through the acquisition of First Independent Bank, previously served as a commercial banker in Portland, and as a senior relationship manager and market team leader in First Independent Bank鈥檚 Portland office. He has more than 20 years of experience in banking and commercial lending, senior management and retail sales.
