Siegner and Co., a commercial painting contractor, recently received the Contractor of the Year safety award from the Joint Safety Committee of the Signatory Painting Contractors Association and the International Union of Painters and Allied Trades District Council 5. The award recognizes a firm鈥檚 overall safety record, participation in safety committee meetings and companywide innovation in safety programs. Siegner and Co., for the award period, reported no citations and no on-the-job accidents among its field staff, which includes more than 40 workers.
