Robert Quaempts, owner and co-founder of Wenaha Group, a Pendleton-based, native-owned construction management and consulting firm, is a recipient of the National Center for American Indian Enterprise Development’s Native American 40 Under 40 award.  The award was created four years ago to acknowledge emerging Native Americans, Alaska Native and First Nation citizens between the ages of 18 and 39 who have demonstrated leadership, initiative and dedication to achieve significant contributions to Native communities throughout North America.
