Contractors invited to learn more about Gresham project

The Gresham Redevelopment Commission on Thursday will hold an open house from 3 to 7 p.m. to provide contractors with information on how they can get involved with the Rockwood Public Safety Facility project, a two-story police structure planned for the Rockwood neighborhood.

Representatives of the project鈥檚 general contractor, P&C Construction, will give an overview of the type of work involved and the bidding process. Their presentation will begin at 3:30 in the Oregon Trail room of Gresham City Hall.

Attendance is not required to bid on the project.

Construction is scheduled to begin in March and finish by the end of the year.
