ARCHITECTURE

MulvannyG2 Architecture recently promoted seven associates based in the firm鈥檚 Portland office.

Katie Johnson is a senior project administrator. She has more than 12 years of experience, and supports MulvannyG2 principals and project managers with tasks related to planning, coordinating, and preparing project contracts, invoices, budgets and reports for multiple clients.

Matthew McClellan is a project manager for Kroger and Fred Meyer store remodel projects throughout the Northwest and Southwest regions.

Kelli Stewart is responsible for completing construction documents for the firm鈥檚 Target account. She also leads the Portland office鈥檚 design and sustainability team.

Michael Parshall鈥檚 responsibilities include project design, coordination and construction on various accounts. He is a founding member of the firm鈥檚 鈥淩AD鈥� team, which is responsible for design, innovation and research projects.

Philip Pittsenbarger is responsible for producing and coordinating construction documents for the Kroger account.

Christopher Rymal is responsible for producing construction documents, assisting in construction administration, and coordinating with consultants in meeting project schedules.

Eric Bolken is a project manager for numerous Target Canada conversion projects, as well as for the overall Target program.

ARCHITECTURE

Nathan Good Architects recently hired architect Corey Cliffe, designer Kimberly Dahlen and interior designer Linda Heidvogel.

Cliffe became a licensed architect in Oregon in 1996 and has since gained substantial architectural experience ranging from custom home projects to large commercial and institutional ones. He previously operated his own practice that focused on residential and commercial sustainable designs.

Dahlen has worked professionally for architecture firms in Boston and Portland. She has overseen the design and construction of many successful projects, including commercial and institutional renovations, multifamily housing, mixed-use buildings and high-end custom homes.

Heidvogel is entering the professional field after graduating from Marylhurst University with a degree in interior design. While in school, she immersed herself in historic design while taking on internships in London and Rome. She will also handle marketing and business development services for the firm.

COMMUNICATIONS

Pac/West Communications recently promoted Angie Blacker and Caleb Hayes to account manager and Chris Sweeney to business development coordinator.

Blacker has more than 20 years of experience in office management, project management and event planning. She has been with Pac/West since November 2010, and works on several client accounts.

Hayes聽has a diverse background in campaigns, party organizations and lobbying. While with Pac/West, he has managed and consulted to aid a successful campaign for Tigard mayor, led a field campaign for a state Senate race, developed candidate surveys, drafted legislative concepts, created legislative agendas, and lobbied on behalf of construction, transportation and education clients.

Sweeney聽leads business development efforts at Pac/West. His responsibilities include identifying new business opportunities, reaching out to potential clients, representing the firm at various events, and responding to requests for proposals. He also assists the government affairs team.

ENGINEERING

Interface Engineering recently hired Michael Moerlins as a senior mechanical engineer. He is a registered professional engineer with 10 years of experience designing mechanical systems. He is working with Interface鈥檚 teams on multiple projects in Portland as well as one in San Jose, Calif.

Also, Darcy Tucker, a senior technologies designer with 18 years of experience, recently earned certification as a registered communications distribution designer. She is working on projects in San Jose, Calif., and Tripoli, Libya.

In addition, Michael Yee is now a registered professional engineer in Oregon. He has six years of experience designing electrical systems, and recently finished work on the OHSU/OUS Collaborative Life Sciences Building in the South Waterfront District.

REAL ESTATE

Pamela Hill of Bluestone & Hockley Real Estate Services recently was appointed director at large for Oregon Washington Community Association Managers. Her term will end in June 2013. Hill is the community association department manager and a management team member for Bluestone & Hockley. She previously served as a partner in a contracting business and as a licensed real estate agent.

In addition, Bluestone & Hockley added Michael Shaw to its community association management department. He has more than 40 years of experience in business management and consulting. He has held management positions with digital publishing, insurance management and engineering firms throughout Oregon.
