UTILITY
Tualatin Valley Water District CEO Greg DiLoreto retired recently after 14 years of service, and the TVWD Board of Commissioners named Mark Knudson to the position.
DiLoreto had a 34-year career in the public works field, including 17 years as a public works director/city engineer.

He is a fellow in the American Society of Civil Engineers, and was named the 2005 ASCE Government Engineer of the Year. In 2003 he was inducted into the Oregon State University Academy of Distinguished Engineers. He plans to complete his term as president of ASCE.

Knudson is a professional engineer with 30 years of experience in the planning, design, construction, operation and maintenance of water systems.
He was hired as TVWD’s chief engineer in 2007. He is certified as a Class 4 Water Distribution Operator and a Class 3 Water Treatment Operator.
