Irina Makarow recently joined BergerABAM in its office in Vancouver, Wash. She has 26 years of engineering and environmental permitting experience in public and private settings. For the past 18 years, she has provided regulatory and environmental reviews for a variety of industries, including heavy metal refining, high-tech semiconductor manufacturing, port, and electrical generation. More recently, these services have included preparation and review of multimedia applications for complex energy facilities ranging from large, base-load combustion, turbine electrical generation facilities to renewable energy projects throughout the western United States. Makarow has managed complex projects through all phases of inception to construction and operations.
