Lloyd Purdy, founder and executive director of Oregon City鈥檚 downtown revitalization organization, recently was named 罢颈驳补谤诲鈥檚 new economic development manager.聽He will step into the new position on Aug. 5. Over the past four years, Purdy helped attract more than $3.2 million in grant money to downtown Oregon City.聽During his tenure as director of a public/private partnership called Main Street Oregon City, downtown gained more than 48 new businesses and more than $1 million annually in private-sector investment.
