The U Street Lofts mixed-use project under construction on the 2600 block of Southeast Hawthorne Boulevard will feature 77 units, ranging in size from studios to two-bedrooms, as well as ground-floor retail space. The SERA Architects-designed building is being built by an in-house contractor with the project’s developers, PHA Venture LLC, and is slated for completion in early November.
