ENGINEERING
Parametrix recently hired Derik Vowels as water solutions division manager in the firm鈥檚 Portland office. He has 15 years of technical experience, with a focus on new business development, environmental compliance management, permitting and environmental planning, stormwater and surface water management, project controls, and multidiscipline project management. He has secured and managed domestic and international environmental and engineering capital projects in the mining, oil/gas, ports, rail, renewable energy and manufacturing sectors. At Parametrix, he will be responsible for project execution, business development and water solutions program growth. He previously was a senior project manager for AECOM.
