PAE, an engineering firm that specializes in sustainable design, recently promoted seven team members who serve its Portland headquarters.

Chris Morgan was promoted from mechanical lead to D-5 technical associate. He has 12 years of experience in mechanical design. He focuses on innovative design tools, from implementation and workflow to design and coordination. Morgan’s technical expertise stems from his background in BIM software training and implementation.

Matt Peairs was promoted from project engineer to E-5 technical associate. He has 10 years of experience in mechanical engineering. He has worked on a variety of projects, including both HVAC and plumbing system design. His expertise ranges from construction administration to schematic design.

Rick Silenzi was promoted from mechanical designer to D-5 technical associate. He has more than 20 years of mechanical design and project management experience. He has led projects such as systems design for health care facilities, laboratories and offices. Rick has assisted in the construction of more than 10 Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design-rated buildings.

Justin Stenkamp was promoted from project engineer to lead engineer. He has more than 15 years of experience in operations, maintenance and mechanical design. He has contributed his expertise to multiple projects, including the Bullitt Center in Seattle. He is skilled in building system designs for housing, government and higher education projects.

Lucas Hambleton was promoted from IT help desk analyst to IS manager. He has two years of experience in the information technology field.

Kevin Hicks was promoted from E-1 designer to staff designer. He recently received a bachelor’s degree in renewable energy and engineering from the Oregon Institute of Technology.

Seth Moody was promoted from E-1 designer to staff designer. He recently graduated from Portland State University, and has worked on a variety of research projects and initiatives for PAE.
