GeoEngineers Inc., a national earth science and technology company headquartered in Seattle, recently hired Jim Webster as a senior hydrologist. The firm also opened a new office in Pendleton.

Webster has more than 20 years of hydrology experience restoring floodplains and natural river channels, assessing wildland hydrology and managing watersheds. He previously was the fisheries habitat program manager for the Confederated Tribes of the Umatilla Indian Reservation. He developed a fisheries habitat-restoration program and oversaw projects involving hydrology, geomorphology, water quality, aquatic habitat, and riparian revegetation.
The office in Pendleton is GeoEngineers’ third in Oregon, along with one each in Bend and Portland.
