Dorianna Phillips, the attorney recruiting and development manager for Schwabe, Williamson & Wyatt, recently was elected chairwoman of the Governance & Outreach Committee of Portland State University’s Center for Women, Politics & Policy Board. The mission for the center is to increase women’s leadership in public policy through targeted teaching and community service programs. At the firm, Phillips manages law student and attorney recruiting efforts, and assists in the design and implementation of attorney professional development programs.

Also, Anthony Burrell, an associate in the Portland office of Schwabe, Williamson & Wyatt, recently was appointed to serve on the board of p:ear. It’s a Portland-based nonprofit that creatively mentors homeless youth. He is an intellectual property attorney who focuses his practice in the area of patents. He has over a decade of experience working with patents, and has assisted clients with patent preparation, prosecution, due diligence and analysis in support of licensing, acquisitions, and litigation.
