The Oregon Bureau of Labor and Industries is seeking nominations for its Business Leadership Awards, which honor employers for outstanding civil rights, workplace fairness and workforce development efforts.
Oregon Labor Commissioner Brad Avakian will present the awards to the winners on Dec. 4 at BOLI’s annual Employment Law Conference.
“It’s always a great time of the year where we get to recognize terrific Oregon businesses,” he said.
Winners receive an award plaque, admission to the conference and updated BOLI employer handbooks.
Nominees must be businesses or nonprofit employers operating primarily in Oregon or with headquarters in the state. BOLI staff will determine the winners based on information in the application and the company’s size and geographic location.
Nominations are due by 5 p.m. on Oct. 28 and can be submitted by email to [email protected] or faxed to 971-673-0762. Applications are available via a link at .
