Big things could be in the works for the Hollywood Bowl building in Northeast Portland.

Jerry Baysinger, senior principal at , has requested an early assistance meeting with the Bureau of Development Services for a proposal to redevelop the Hollywood Bowl building, at 4030 N.E. Halsey St., for . Baysinger declined to comment on the application, but said the proposed project is being handled by , a Minnetonka, Minn.-based development company that has a branch in San Jose, Calif.

Oppidan officials did not immediately return calls seeking comment, nor did representatives of ³¢´Ç·É±ð’²õÌý°ä´Ç²õ., which in August for $205 million in cash.

Capital Pacific has listed the 42,404-square-foot Hollywood Bowl building for $7.64 million. The bowling alley has nine years left on its lease, but developers have the option to buy the business out for $595,000. Capital Pacific declined to comment on the redevelopment proposal.

Orchard Supply Hardware weeks ago withdrew from Security Properties’ mixed-use development on North Williams Avenue. The retailer has two existing stores in the Portland area – one in Beaverton and one in Tigard.
