Mike Bomar recently was named president of the Columbia River Economic Development Council. He replaces Lisa Nisenfeld, who in August was appointed head of the Oregon Employment Department by Gov. John Kitzhaber. The CREDC is a public-private partnership that works with more than 130 investors to assist business relocation to Clark County, Wash., or expansion therein. Bomar for the past three and a half years has served as executive director of the Southwest Washington Contractors Association.
