Downtown space renovated for new bank branch

Emerick Construction is wrapping up a tenant improvement on a ground floor space in the Jackson Tower building in downtown Portland for Bank of the West. Work on the project began in August with the demolition of floors and casework in the former retail space. Further work includes leveling of the floor, new framing and drywall, new ductwork and HVAC upgrades, and upgraded electrical and data systems. The Emerick Architects-designed branch is slated to open Monday.
