Avamere Family of Cos. is ready to break ground on a new memory care facility in the Willamette Valley.

The building will be constructed on Claggett Court in Keizer, next to Avamere’s existing retirement campus. When completed, the $7.8 million building will feature 48 units for seniors suffering from Alzheimer’s, dementia or other mental illnesses.

CB | Two Architects designed the project; Meili Construction is the general contractor. Avamere estimates the project will create between 80 and 100 construction jobs.
