Crews with general contractor and Geotech Foundation West. worked this week on the installation of 165 rammed aggregate piers at the Pearl District site of the Janey II apartment project. Work on the site, located on the corner of Northwest Everett Street and 11th Avenue, began in October with the demolition of a vacant warehouse building. In its place will be an eight-story, 62-unit apartment building designed by for Columbia Investments Ltd.
