Oregon BEST elects Cynthia Powell to board

BUSINESS
Oregon BEST recently elected Cynthia Powell to its 13-member board of directors. She is the director of the Office of Research & Development for the National Energy Technology Laboratory. She supervises on-site research personnel and laboratories in Albany, Pittsburgh and Morgantown, W.Va. The board is tasked with helping Oregon BEST accelerate commercialization of new clean technologies.
