After six years of service as board chairman of the Oregon Technology Business Center, Jim McCreight is stepping into a part-time position as director of strategic partnerships for the Beaverton nonprofit. The OTBC helps tech-based startups by providing services like networking, coaching and entrepreneurial programs. McCreight, in his new role, helps develop strategic partnerships with government, corporate, foundation and individual supporters of the startup incubator, which is sponsored by the city of Beaverton. McCreight will join OTBC Director Steve Morris and new Board Chairman Pryor Garnett in assisting the incubator’s 12 tenant companies.
