The Standard Insurance Co., a subsidiary of StanCorp Financial Group, recently hired Mark Temme as second vice president of shared services. He previously was with The Standard from 1991 through 2006, starting as a junior accountant and eventually becoming assistant vice president of loan origination. Before rejoining the company, Temme held various leadership positions in the banking industry. He now has overall responsibility for the shared services team that supports The Standard’s Employee Benefits division.
