Jennifer Nelson recently was elected a shareholder of Ogletree, Deakins, Nash, Smoak & Stewart PC. She focuses her practice on representing employers in a range of labor and employment matters, including class action claims involving discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination and wage and hour issues. She has represented employers in state and federal courts, as well as before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Oregon Bureau of Labor and Industries and the Washington Human Rights Commission. She also counsels employers on issues including employee discipline and termination, wage and hour compliance, reasonable accommodation, and adherence to federal and state family and medical leave laws.
