More than 80 projects in Oregon and Southwest Washington have been selected as finalists for the Daily Journal of Commerce‘s 2014 TopProjects.

In order to be accepted into the awards competition, projects had to meet several criteria, including completion by the end of 2013 and value greater than $1 million.

The finalists next will be evaluated by a panel of professionals from the building industry.

Winning projects, including the Project of the Year, will be announced at the TopProjects Awards event, which will be held May 15, from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m., at the Oregon Convention Center. Sponsors include platinum sponsor SAIF Corp., and gold sponsors ARC Document Solutions, Associated Builders and Contractors Pacific Northwest chapter, Comcast Business Class, and the Pacific Northwest Council of Carpenters.
