Climax Portable Machining & Welding Systems, a designer and manufacturer of portable on-site machining and welding tools, recently hired Scott Kunkler as vice president of global quality and engineering. He is based in the company’s world headquarters in Newberg. Kunkler has 29 years of professional experience. He previously was vice president of engineering at CIRCOR Aerospace & Defense.
