Sean Hoar, a veteran Assistant U.S. Attorney with the Department of Justice, recently joined the national privacy and data security team at Davis Wright Tremaine LLP. He will be based in the firm’s Portland office. Hoar has more than two decades of experience prosecuting crimes such as intellectual property theft, computer intrusion, defense procurement fraud, identity theft, Internet fraud and securities fraud.
