Stephen T. Janik has stepped down as chairman of Ball Janik LLP, after 10 years in the position. During his legal career, Janik handled several landmark real estate projects, including representing the city of Portland in the development and negotiation of the Rose Garden Arena, PGE Park and Jeld-Wen field. He will continue his practice, which serves real estate and land use clients. He also will continue his community service involvement, including serving on boards of the Knight Cancer Institute and the Portland Art Museum.
