If Kaye Kloster has a motto, it might well be: “The job isn’t done until the paperwork is finished.”
As vice president and general manager of the Oregon division of American Reprographics Company (ARC) Document Solutions, Kloster oversees the company’s service to a wide variety of industries, with a focus on architecture, engineering and construction.
Kaye started her career within ARC in 1995, working in sales; she was promoted to sale manager three years later. She was named vice president of the company’s Oregon division in 2003.
Since then, Kloster has played a leading role in steering the company toward success in an evolving market.
She helped the company make the transition from analog to digital services, and continued to train and develop her workforce to meet the challenges of a rapidly changing business.
Focusing on the dynamics of change, she has helped ARC’s clients weather industry changes as well. By keeping in step with technology, Kloster and her staff have been able to help clients become more efficient across a broad range of document needs. As part of that effort, she started a monthly newsletter two years ago that helps her company keep its clients up to date with advances in the industry.
She served as program chairwoman of the Portland chapter of the Construction Specifications Institute (CSI) for eight years and as its president for two years. She is active with the American Society of Professional Estimators, the Architectural Foundation of Oregon, and the Society of Marketing Professional Services.
