Two offices of a national real estate brokerage company have merged, creating one regional office with more than 725 employees.
HomeServices of America on Tuesday announced that its Portland and Seattle offices are joining forces, according to a news release. HomeServices of America is an affiliate of Omaha, Neb.-based Berkshire Hathaway.
The regional office will provide services to residential and commercial clients in the Seattle and Portland metropolitan areas, as well as Central Oregon, Yamhill County and the Oregon coast.
Jason Waugh, president and CEO of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Northwest Real Estate鈥檚 Portland office, has been named president and CEO of the combined companies.

Mike Gain, former president and CEO of the Seattle office, has assumed the role of chairman emeritus. He will focus on acquisition and expansion strategies and opportunities for the company.

Combined, the two offices鈥 sales volume for 2014 was $2.2 billion, according to the news release.
HomeServices鈥 operating companies offer integrated real estate services, including brokerage services, mortgage originations, title and closing services, property and casualty insurance, home warranties, and other homeownership services.
