Custom Plywood Mill Site Cleanup

Hart Crowser led the comprehensive remedial investigation, design and construction for the Washington State Department of Ecology at the former site of Custom Plywood. The project has been recognized as one of the largest state-funded cleanups within the Puget Sound Initiative.
Interstate 5: Willamette River Bridge Project

In addition to serving as the prime A&E consultant on a multidisciplinary team, OBEC handled the design and construction engineering for the main and approach span of the two dual arch bridges. The firm also assisted with community outreach, project management and construction inspection.
Newton Creek Gets a Step Up in Roseburg

Roseburg Regional Airport needed to improve airfield safety while providing passage for three species of fish in the creek, which crosses under the airport through a 500-foot-long box culvert. Mead & Hunt found solutions that met the desired project goals without increasing flood stages.
OR 22 Bridge Vertical Clearance Project

WHPacific served as the prime consultant, providing engineering, design and construction administration, and inspection on the raising of two bridges and the lower of pavement beneath two others to help create a smoother trip for over-height moving freight along the back roads in Marion County to reach Interstate 5.
Portland-Milwaukie Light Rail Line: East Segment Geotechnical Design

Shannon & Wilson served as the geotechnical consultant under David Evans and Associates on six miles of alignments – which cut through heavily developed urban areas and feature a variety of soil conditions – for the east segment of the Portland to Milwaukie light rail transit project.

Working with DOWA-IDI Group as the prime, GHD designed more than 80 acres of site improvements that meshed with, and supported, DOWA’s vision for Sandy High School, the Oregon Trail School District’s first new major project in more than 30 years.

As prime consultant, KPFF provided project management, civil and structural engineering, and surveying for this project, which featured transformation of a car-centric, run-down arterial into a green corridor serving a range of users including pedestrians, drivers and bicyclists.
Water Transmission Main Replacement – Phases I, II and IIA

BergerABAM was selected to serve as prime for a three-phase replacement of the city of Hood River’s aging water system, a nearly 20-mile project – with a vertical drop of more than 1,000 feet – that stretched from an underground spring at the base of Mount Hood to the Wilson Reservoir inside the city limits.
