The Portland Development Commission is offering mini-micro loans to low-income and minority small business owners, including micro businesses. The loans are part of a pilot revolving loan fund the PDC has launched with Micro Enterprise Services of Oregon. The loans, in the range of $100 to $2,500, are intended to give access to capital to these businesses that are “traditionally underserved” and help them build their credit.
The pilot program is part of PDC’s Microenterprise & Small Business Program, which serves approximately 500 businesses each year with technical assistance and training. Businesses may also receive legal services, credit coaching and access to market research through the PDC. To learn more call 503-823-3200 or visit the PDC’s . http://www.pdc.us.
