Tim Blackwood, a principal geotechnical engineer at Hart Crowser, has been elected to the American Council of Engineering Companies of Oregon board of directors as vice president. His term began July 1.

Blackwood is a LEED-accredited professional and has completed hundreds of projects in all aspects of geotechnical engineering and geology throughout the Pacific Northwest and Hawaii, and as far away as Peru. His work includes geologic hazards such as rock fall and landslides, public works projects, commercial and industrial development, sustainable practices, and forest practices.
