John Schmidt, a licensed landscape architect, has joined Eugene-based Schirmer Satre Group as a project manager. He has 23 years of industry experience, including marketing, project management and design. He has managed, designed and assisted a range of projects, including commercial developments, housing, public parks and trail systems, roadways and streetscapes, and municipal and federal buildings. In his new position, Schmidt will be involved in business development and project management, and will lead the firm鈥檚 in-house team through design, 2-D and 3-D visualization, and construction document processes.
