Markowitz Herbold has added Anna Joyce as of counsel. She previously worked in the Appellate Division of the Oregon Department of Justice as the solicitor general. She started at the DOJ in 2003, first as assistant attorney general for the Department of Human Services and Division of Child Support, and then as assistant attorney general for the Appellate Division. Joyce then served as assistant attorney-in-charge in the Appellate Division before becoming deputy solicitor general and then solicitor general.
