• Early assistance is requested for a proposal to deconstruct or move an existing house at 5143 E. Burnside St. and replace it with six structures containing 18 townhomes and a single-story community building with a rooftop garden. The applicant is Dan Williams of Faster Permits, and the owners are Cirrus Properties LLC and Ryan Olsen of Elemental Urban Living LLC.
• Early assistance is sought for a proposal to construct a new 19-bed residential care facility for persons with physical or mental disability at 15847 S.E. Powell Blvd. An existing single-family home on the site would be demolished. The applicant is Mildred White of BAMA Architecture and Design, and the owner is Yamane Development.
• Early assistance is requested for a project to build three clusters of row houses at 3910 S.W. Beaverton Hillsdale Highway. The applicant is Ralph Tahran of Tahran Architecture & Planning, and the owner is Eugene Anderson.
• A Type III conditional use review is requested for a proposed office building at 2800 N.W. Front Ave. The proposed building would have more than 25,000 square feet; review is required because of location in the Guild’s Lake Industrial Sanctuary Plan district. The applicant is Brian Varricchione of Mackenzie, and the owner is Bill Irvin of Sulzer Pumps.
• A Type III conditional use review is sought for a project to expand an existing day care facility at 1620 S.E. 130th Ave. The project would include expanded parking, utilities, and a stormwater facilities. The applicant is Scott Birkhofer of David Douglas Day Care.
• A Type II design review is sought for modifications to Mill Creek Residential Trust’s Modera Belmont project at 685 S.E. Belmont St. The applicant is David Stephenson of SERA Design, and the owner is Belmont Flats Venture LLC.
• A Type III design review is sought for a proposal to demolish an existing quarter-block building at 619 S.W. 11th Ave. and replace it with a 15-story, 221-room hotel. A pre-application conference for a SERA Architects-designed hotel at the site was scheduled last year, following a submission by Nate Gundrum of Mortenson Development. The building’s owner is United Way of the Columbia-Willamette.
