TriMet has promoted Steve Witter to executive director of its capital projects and construction division. While working at the agency, Witter has provided leadership for several major construction projects, including the recent MAX orange line light-rail project. In his new role, he will lead the division鈥檚 84 employees in all planning, development, design and construction, and capital improvement projects, including the Powell-Division transit and development project and the Southwest Corridor light-rail project.
