Leta E. Gorman has joined the Portland office of Betts, Patterson & Mines PS as director. Gorman, who received her law degree from Seattle University in 1994, is a trial attorney with extensive experience handling matters involving complex business, personal injury, contract, product liability and construction defect claims. She has extensive trial experience at the state and federal levels, and has handled numerous class actions, arbitrations and mediations. She is a frequent speaker at local and national legal conferences, and is actively involved with organizations such as the International Association of Defense Counsel, Defense Research Institute, American Bar Association and Multnomah County Bar Association. Prior to beginning her litigation practice, Gorman served as a senior tax associate at Deloitte & Touche LLP.
