• Portland Public Schools was issued a permit to add an aluminum storefront opening at Franklin High School for $542,320. Skanska USA is the applicant and contractor.

• The Fontaine Condominium Owners Association was issued a $2 million permit to replace all the windows above level 1 on the Fontaine condo high-rise in the Lloyd Center. The applicant is Frank Hilton. The contractor is Benson Industries.

• Pioneer Place Limited Partnership was issued a $1.2 million permit to remove and replace three glass panels at the exterior facade of the Apple store on Southwest Yamhill Street in downtown. The applicant is Daniel Dewey of Portland and the contractor is Hoffman Construction.

• 625 NW 21st LLC was issued permits to demolish the single-story Gypsy Restaurant and Velvet Lounge building at 635 N.W. 21st Ave. and begin construction of a $12-million, four-story mixed-use building. The applicant is Emerick Architects and the contractor is Colas Construction.

• The City of Portland was issued a $2.5 million permit to replace track turf and install new bleachers at 2599 S.W. Barbur Blvd. in Southwest. The applicant and contractor is Sports Fields Inc. of Canton, Ga.

• The Port of Portland was issued a $1.3 million permit to build a 2,204-square foot building with attached canopy at 10105 N.E. Airport Way. The contractor is Payne Construction Inc.

• Fair-Haired Dumbbell LLC was issued a $8.5 million permit to begin construction of twin six-story heavy timber buildings with pedestrian bridges at each floor at 33 N.E. Martin Luther King Blvd. The contractor is Andersen Construction.

• Money Saver Johnson Creek LLC is seeking a permit to repair fire-damaged portion of the first and second floors of a self-storage building at 7702 S.E. 92nd Ave. The applicant and contractor is Geislinger Construction Inc.

• N Etal Stochosky is pursuing a permit to build a six-story self-storage building at 700 S.E. Belmont St. The applicant is McKenzie Architecture.
