Permits issued

• The Tualatin Valley Fire and Protection District was issued a $692,400 permit to remodel its station at 11646 N.W. Skyline Blvd. Improvements include a new utility shed and ADA ramp at the front of the building.

• Run Our Dream LLC – the firm developing the headquarters for Under Armour at 2815 S.W. Barbur Blvd. – was issued a $186,211 permit to modify the fireproofing system, including adding intumescent paint and sprayed fireproofing. The applicant and contractor is Lease Crutcher Lewis.

• The University of Portland was issued a permit for approximately $10.6 million to remove one story from a four-story building at 5350 N. Willamette Blvd. Some dormitory rooms will be added. The contractor is Skanska USA. The designer is Soderstrom Architects.

Permit intakes

• Tom Moyer Theatres of Portland is pursuing a $1.2 million permit to alter the building at 829 S.W. Ninth Ave. The renovation includes replacing the roofing, adding skylights and two bathrooms, removing a mezzanine floor and replacing sloped ground-floor slab with flat slab. The applicant is TVA Architects and the contractor is Hoffman.

• The city of Portland is pursuing a $960,000 permit to increase barrier-free access to the Rose Garden and amphitheater at 240 S.W. Wright Ave. The project will eliminate a set of stairs and provide ramps with handrails. The designer is Greenworks PC.
